The 118 059-5 series were built between 1960 and 1966.

The pictured model is a replica of a 118 059-5 series built by PIKO in east Germany. It is a DC motor operated N scale model. The locomotive was part of a so called "Starter set 5/0653" Locomotive PIKO Catalog Nr. 5/4107. Various versions of this model were built between 1971 - 1989.

This is an N scale model of a fuel tank car. Made in silver and black for an N scale starter sets.
The red printed LEUNA logo reffers to the old refinery in Leuna (near Leipzig, in former East Germany)
Today this once gigantic factory no longer exists, but this scale model is well and alive as seen in the above photos from 2012.

Electric locomotive (BB 9200)
In reality: This is a Class BB 9200 electric locomotive used by the SNCF (Société Nationale des Chemins de fer français; "French National Railway Corporation") It had an engine type specially constructed for high speed trains. The model: Green electric locomotive Elok 5/4102 made by PIKO MODELLBAHN in former east Germany. It was available as a separate component for N scale model railways. It uses the original green colour scheme with white lettering: SNCF BB 9210 Catalog Nr. 5/4102 Various versions were built between 1970 - 1989. |

In reality: This was a passenger car operated by ČSD - Czechoslovak State Railways (in Czeh Československé státní dráhy, ČSD) the former state-owned railway company in Czechoslovakia. The model: Double Decker Articulated Coach for N scale models. PIKO catalogue nr. 5/4137-01. Made in former East Germany by PIKO. |

Vorstadthaus Annelies - VERO
"Vorstadthaus Annelies" (Suburban House Annelies) is a plastic scale model house made by VERO to be used for landscaping in combination with N scale model trains manufactured by PIKO. Manufacturing date was 21 January 1977 (see stamp on paper inlay). As you can see from the pictures there is still some green decoration left in two bags while the glue container was never opened (it was used glue from other scale models) The house is placed on a 105x90 mm platform. Original sales price was 3.90 Mark (east German Mark)
Güterschuppen 5920/129/363 - VERO
Presented here is the N-scale Goods shed, ready-made plastic building introduced in 1969. Manufacturer was "VEB Kombinat Holzspielwaren VERO Olbernhau" from the former East Germany. Two versions were available: the "Güterschuppen 5920/129/363" - a ready made building, while the "Güterschuppen 5930/129/383" was a kit version. I own this model since the late 70's. The last few pictures show the Goods shed with custom LED lighting on a diorama I started building in 2018. Dimensions: 110 x 70 x 45 mm

BR 65 locomotive PIKO Set 5/0644

The BR 65 locomotive was produced by the Krauss-Maffei factory between 1951-1956 in Germany. They were extremely reliable, but had a short operation range.
The model:
Steam locomotive with double decker wagon Set 5/0644 from the PIKO N scale range. The PIKO 5/0644 N scale set consisted of the BR 65 steam locomotive and a double decker articulated wagon. The BR 65 locomotive had PIKO catalogue nr. 5/4103 and was part of several start sets. These models were built between 1968-1989 and the price of the locomotive alone was 44.70 east mark. The double decker wagon had PIKO catalogue nr. 5/4137-01 and it was also available separately as seen futher above. The complete Set 5/0644 was sold for 62.00 east mark.

This was a prototype unit, an engined wagon and trailer that were made in 1963 in German Democratic
Republic. Untill 1970 there were build only two units, both are existing but still not working.

VT 4.12 motor coach Set Nr. 5/0649 containing power unit and trailer in blue/white colors in DR version. The price was 42,00 EVP. This model were built between 1971-1989. PIKO also published only power unit (cat. nr. 5/4105), this version costs 32,40 EVP and also solo trailer wagon (cat. nr. 5/4141) – 9,60 EVP.

The locomotive marked T 449.0 (T means diesel machine) was a prototype of a two engine locomotive made by company CKD in 1959. Between 1960-1966 existed only two pieces and one of them was used at the station Cierna nad Tisou. They worked like shift machine on the border with former Soviet Union.

This red and silver locomotive was made by VEB PIKO MODELLBAHN in former DDR (Deutsche Demokratische Republik) and it had the so called hakkenkuplung connection. From 1968 PIKO made a cahnge to the Arnold-Coupler. The base of model was the same as for the V180 and BB 9200 locomotives. Original marking T 449.0 was not used, PIKO only put ČSD - Czechoslovak State Railways (Československé státní dráhy, ČSD) on the both side of model. Cat. nr. 5/4106 - built between 1966-1989. This locomotive was also as a part of set - cat. nr. 5/0605 with three freight wagon.
